About Us

Who We Are

We are an Army veteran couple that escaped the Rat Race in Portland with our two young children in pursuit of a more fulfilling life in the western foothills of Maine. We built our Off Grid Homestead from scratch the hard way and learned many lessons.
TJ Blanchard is a Registered Maine Guide, skilled equipment operator, Class A driver, and carpenter with a decade of experience in the construction industry. He is the hardest working man with a shovel or hammer and the best operator in the field. He holds an Associates Degree in Construction Building Technology from SMCC.
Annabelle Blanchard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from USM and is a Licensed Maine Realtor.
